Wildlife Talks & Education

Hi, we're Becky and Alex

At Turning Odd Pages (TOP) Conservation we are dedicated to educate in all aspects of wildlife conservation and aid those aspiring to pursue a career in the field.

Between our partnership we have over 20 years of experience in the wildlife industry involving both captive husbandry and education at zoos as well as work in situ (FGASA qualified). Both have Bachelor degrees in wildlife sciences (International Wildlife Biology, Animal Behaviour and Wildlife Conservation); this allows an understanding of both the practical side of the field and the academics sometimes required.

TOP Conservation was formed in order to teach all walks of life (young and old), wildlife conservation and ensure its careers are available to everyone. We can provide both formal and informal talks to a variety of audiences and organisations based around a wide range of topics, examples of which are listed below and can be tailored to any age range:

  • Animal Behaviour
  • British Wildlife/Conservation
  •  Zoos and Wildlife Sanctuaries
  • Careers Advice
  • Weird and Wonderful Wildlife
  • and many more*

Career Advice

With more than a decade each in the industry we can provide advice for those wishing to pursue a career in the wildlife and conservation field.

As people employed in the field, we understand how difficult it can be to take your first steps in this specialised industry. Our first forays into wildlife careers were unguided which made the process very difficult, we aim to help any prospective wildlife professionals find the career they would like.
